Once the dispenser is installed, monthly replacement of the PoolNaturally refill is all the attention that’s required as far as the PoolNaturally system itself. When starting to use the PoolNaturally system, it is recommended that the user cut the amount of the chemicals being use in the pool be reduced by 50% immediately while continuing to do the standard water testing.
After several weeks with the PoolNaturally refill conditioning the pool water, an additional reduction of 50% can be introduced. Continue regular water quality testing for the next several days and if satisfactory water quality is resulting, one can implement further chemical reductions need to occur based on personal preferences as long as chlorine readings are showing approximately 1.0 ppm.
Regular monthly changes of the PoolNaturally refill are accomplished by closing the valves to the dispenser, disconnecting the inflow hose from the top of the dispenser using the quick disconnect fixture, screwing off the dispenser top, removing the past months inserts, and adding new PoolNaturally refill as stated on the dosage charts for the PoolNaturally system (see above).
When backwashing, super-chlorinating or shocking, turn off the valves to the PoolNaturally system until maintenance is complete and/or sanitizer levels return to normal. In cooler climates, use standard winterizing procedures and remove all water and PoolNaturally refills from the dispenser.
